We do have camping chairs, but they have never really been the ideal solution for this.

The only place to mount Telrads on a Source 4 is on the front of the light, which inherently pushes it far away from the operator. It can't really mount anywhere else due to the heat and plastic base of the sight. We've tried the top and sides of the light for mounting the sight.

I'm not saying that I agree with that directive at all. I agree that getting someone out of a harness after a fall ASAP is imperative (just as the university's fall training session told us). Just pointing out that university politics could be interesting with regards to this sort of thing.
