OMG What a day!
Our guests from Sydney got in last night and I got to spend the day downtown in the Newmark Theater with the Scenic Designer, Micheal Scott-Mitchell and the Lighting Designer, Nick Schlieper. I have to say I'm truly Giddy, and so very excited to be working on this project, Long Days Journey into Night, with Sydney Theater Company. Though it does make me aware of what a small Company I work for, it makes me very proud to be able to work with such talents. I was also thouroughly impressed with thier Artistic Director, Andrew Upton, and thier Executive Producer, Jo Dyer all were thouroughly delightful individuals. I may a week behind on my work for our next production Design For Living, but I've never been happier when starting on a show so late.....
