A little more on steel scaffolding. A ladder section is typically 5' wide by 6' high... they do make other sizes however. The typical length of a deck section is 7'. If it's portable they
go up on 8" casters which add a total of about 11" to the overall height.
Safety fences on top are about 30" high.
