An effective "switchboard" can be fabricated of an audio
patch panel and a bunch of old guitar amp cables. Perhaps you can ask your sound guys or a musician friend if one of them has a patch panel you can use for the run.
Here is a source for 1/4" guitar cables at $1.50 each. With 10 cables and a patch panel, you could fabricate a panel/
desk that holds the components (see attachment).
