Appearance
While I can appreciate the apparent need for the blog owner's comments to be distinguished from others, I don't get why quotations must carry non-standard formatting. It is I who is writing (or copying and pasting) the words. No other place on the site uses background color as an identifying characteristic, but I guess this is the start of the new regime.
