Open - Log-in not registered on home page portal

I'm not sure if you guys know about this, but whenever I access Control Booth for the first time, the home page/portal asks me to log in. I go straight to the forums (without logging in), and it automatically get logged in somehow. If I go back to the home page, it says I'm logged in.

I'm running Ubuntu 9.04, Firefox 3.0.14. When I log in, I usually check "stay logged in." I'm guessing it's a problem with the session variables somewhere. If I navigate away from Control Both and come back a little later, the home page will still say I'm logged in. However, if I completely close Firefox, and go back to CB, the problem repeats.

Same problem, on OS X 10.5.7 with Firefox 3.5.2.

I have had the same problem, at least now it lets me log in, for months it would not ever log me in

It seems to me that there might be a cookie that gets checked at the wrong time. I have the same issue, I go to the site, says not logged in and even if I log in it does not show me logged in until I go to new posts. THEN it will show me logged in even if I did not log in this time, and offer the option of today's posts

My Problem is slightly different. When I go to the homepage it says i am not logged in. I go to the forums and it says I am logged in. I then go back to the homepage and it says I am logged out again.
I am running Mac OSX 10.5.5 using Safari.

Try to clear any cookies from CB, close the browser, then log in from http://www.controlbooth.com/forums/

then go to the home page and see if it shows you logged in.

When i was on someone else's computer (newer Mac using Firefox), I went to the home page, clicked on the "Forum" link at the top, and logged in from there. I went back to the home page, and it sayed I was logged in.

Normally, I'll go to the home page from my computer (says I'm not logged in), then click on the forum link and get logged in automatically there (as I've told the message board to remember my log-in stuff).
