If we could read minds, we wouldn't need headsets.

Wiki tags seem to be a hit-and-miss at the moment, some words are underlined while others are not. The non underlined words still work as links though.![]()

Sorry, didn't see this link,
See post in Bug Reports
EDIT: Fixed. Manually entered URL, loaded fine

On the homepage, under the "My Friends Activity" section, the poster's name isn't entirely separate from the post title.
EDIT: When editing a post, the "Go Advanced" button currently doesn't actually do anything.
The background it white...and the links are blue...
The insert image page doesn't show buttons until you mouse over them.

I've got this weird boarder around the forum sections, underneath the reply button, and under the title in posts.
![]()

even maximized, sometimes titles are long enough that it bumps the page buttons under other buttons like here with the C wrench discussion.

Out of curiousity, what is your screen resolution on that computer?

We are aware of this bug and trying to fix it. The upgrade unfortunately did more than just patch the system, it did a number of "upgrades" to the theme system, something we weren't anticipating. We are trying to track down the new/changed code, but in many cases we are talking about thousands of lines of code and just working to find the changes is a PITA.

Thank you Derek,
The button I'm reffering to was at the top right corner of the screen, between 'My Profile' and 'Log Out'. The button was named 'Settings' IIRC. When clicking this button the user was sent to a page which showed discussions in which the user had posted at some time. Pretty handy tab, as it allowed me to keep up with relevant discussions w/o having to remember each thread by name...
Thanks!

I'm guessing it linked to this page?

As a workaround to make all the text readable, I found that if you're at the intro page, you can go to the drop down box in the lower left corner and change from the "Black and Gold" to "vB4 Default Style". You can then see all the text clearly. You just have to get used to seeing CB in teal with a white background.

The reply box is now missing the resize arrows, the ones that with one click can expand the text box. There's the click and drag arrow at the bottom right, but that doesn't do me any good on my Droid or iPad since I can't click and drag.
Posts in Groups also have the same white background problem.

Here's a hypothesis:
The wiki auto-link happens as soon as the post is made (the link is active), but it takes a period of time for the yellow underline to appear, for some entries. Can't explain why.
-----
Another oddity:
Why do you suppose the auto-link ignored the first instance of the word "console" and underlined the second?
EDIT: Answer: Because when two wiki terms appear consequitively, only the first is recognized and highlighted.

I have been attempting to reply to the thread
Replacing or Repairing Gas Springs on Smoke Hatches
but the system just goes to a 404 error screen when I press the Post button. I have tried both the Quick Post and the Advanced Post with the same result.
I'm using Firefox or IE browsers, both current with up-to-date flash and Java in a Win7-32 environment on a 1080x1920 monitor.
I posted earlier to another forum OK, so there seems to be a bug at this one spot, unless it doesn't work when I press the Post Quick Reply button . . . here it goes . . .

hey Derek, I think I know why its not working for you (you are using an alternative theme). I'll get that resolved today.

I believe the politically correct nomenclature is "differently enabled".In any case, the "Go Adv." button IS working again!

EDIT: Except NOT after selecting "Edit," only when composing a post.
* "-- Black and Gold" is an alternative theme? I thought that was the defacto ControlBooth standard, the one that 4 out of 5 dentists, and choosy mothers, prefer?
------
New issue: See this post. Rather than parsing, linking, or whatever an email address, the system just hides it. I had to type an <at> to trick it into displaying the address.
EDIT: Nevermind; it's working now.![]()

Black and Gold is the De Facto theme, I thought you were using the Black and Gold Large Print version, but I just looked at the code and the change should have carried over from the Black and Gold theme.
Yes, I do see that editing a post still does not allow you to click Go Advanced. I'll keep working on that.

Looks like you got it. At least, it's working for me.

Something that may be pertinent to solving the wikilinks (not wikileaks!) issue:
In this post, JD had written "CharmSys MagicQ ..." MagicQ was yellow underlined. When I edited it to read "ChamSys MagicQ", ChamSys became underlined, but the following word "MagicQ" lost its. When the term appears later in the post, "MagicQ" is an non-underlined link. Very peculiar.
It appears wikilinks can't deal with two wiki terms in a row? Leko ellipsoidal ERS ellipsoidal reflector flood .

Just tried to make a post using Quick Reply, and upon clicking Post Quick Reply, my browser gave me the "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" message twice, before finally taking me to an error page and losing the post. This seems to be an isolated incident and is probably my own computer's fault, but the bigger question is - what are these "Auto-Saved" messages that keep popping up in the corner? Does that mean that there's a saved draft of my post that I just lost somewhere? Where is that?

I like the auto save but got a weird display bug when switching from quick reply to go advanced. The text in the edit dialog repeats itself but when previewing and actually posting, it appears normal.

So I do a new post in Lighting and Electrics - LED House Lamps
On my browser it does not show up under "What's new".
Any thoughts ?. Does it show up in What's New for anybody else.
Thanks in advance.
