Look at the explanation next to punching bag on the page that displays all the forums. You will see that it states that posts there only stay for two days (probably from the last post on the topic). After this they are automatically deleted. That is why you can't search for them.
Punching Bag is only meant to be a release valve. If the issue is one that deserves further discussion is should be put on a forum that doesn't expire. I may be wrong but this is how I take punching bag to operate. |

Yeah, the theory behind the punching bag I believe is that you get it out of the system and then after 2 days, the post auto deletes, hence you can't see any posts - they have all been auto deleted.

And I do believe that it is 2 days after the last post in the thread that the topic gets deleted. Or so I think... |
