Spam on PM's

I've taken care of the spam on that was recently sent to some members via PM. It does not appear to be a spam bot due to the very low volume of people who received it, but the person has been blocked, banned, tarred and feathered.

thanks...i didn't send it to you, but i knew it was spam, i'm so used to it on other sites it didn't occur to me to report it.

lets say we were slow in checking our pm's was the message removed? I think I got it because I had an email saying i had a pm but don't have an unread one.

Yes, I have the power to pull every pm message from a particular user from everybody's inbox that got the message

why was our great forum invaded by people with such bad english, our humble little forum invaded by pirates....was it pirates or ninja's, she came in under dvsdave's radar so must have been a ninja

She fooled me, though at least it was harmless, her main goal seemed to be directing traffic to her site. I'm normally pretty good with spam, but this one looked like a friendly PM. Oh well, the booth gods have taken care of it. Peace returns to happy valley.
