Default iPhone Mode

Not sure if anyone here can help, but...

When I try to visit CB on my phone, I get a strange white and olive mobile version, which allows me to read most threads' first and last pages.
It's really frustrating to not be able to post new threads, reply, or read any page of a thread that isn't the first or last.

I have an arrow at the bottom to a "normal version" but it doesn't load, and appears just as a white web page.

Thanks!

I think you have to send Steve Jobs another $300.00 to get the CB features installed on an Iphone. You have to then install new firmware that you can only download using your Iphone and I believe it takes a week and a half for the D/L to complete.

I'm no help at all.
Sorry, it's been a good day.

The only solution I can think of is for you to buy everyone on here an iPhone so we can fully beta test it. Really, without a large beta group, we may never have a perfect iPhone version of CB. I don't have an issue with my blackberry....

Also... I will always take a free iphone for anyone who is giving one away..,.

Hahahaa, I assumed as much it was VBulletin's fault, but there's always the chance I have some stupid setting turned on making it impossible for me to post.
Who knows.
It's way better of an interface than I would have ever guessed and I'm really glad I can waste my life gaining CB wisdom, so even if I never figure out the issue I'll be happy.

Yes, I think one iPhone per CB member would be fantastic, but unfortunately, I only have the phone because my mom negotiated I could get one if I had a high enough GPA. So don't expect any sudden donations of iPhones from me... (I'd put the money towards a laptop that can actually run VW anyways! My current laptop is an ancient iBook that sobs every time I open lightwright. ) Sorry.

Hmmm, I believe we have a member who's running both Vectorworks and Lightwright on an iBook, perhaps he could help?

Please don't refer to things such as iBooks (07/1999 - 05/2006) as ancient--it makes those of us who remember the TRS-80 and Commodore 64, not to mention punch tape and cards, feel really old.

I started surfing the 'net' with a Commodore 64 and a 300 baud modem

Alright, we are getting some work done on the iPhone mode. You should be able to reply to posts now. Please let me know what else needs to be done.

Might it be possible to focus all energies and efforts toward correcting the Upload problem, which benefits everyone; as opposed to implementing new features affecting a tiny minority?

Ricky is working on it

look around and you will notice he recently got a admin account which im assuming he is using to fix back end vbulletin issues. Until then host the images off your blog derek or a photo sharing site. I put all my images i use on my blog and i have actually started to use them in my posts since i have them already up there.
