WYSIWYG: wysiwyg & Vivien - Virtual Event Designer, industry standard tools for event professionals
WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) created by Cast Lighting, is now on its 24th release. With features such as enhanced beam renderings, correct footprints and shadows, hotspots, and other enhancements Wysiwyg is an extremely powerful Visualizer. Wysiwyg also includes a fully fledged plotter program, as well an extensive in-program library, making it an "all in one" package for a designer. Wysiwyg can also be connected to many real life consoles, as well as many offline consoles.

ESP Vision: ESP Vision: Welcome to ESP Vision
ESP Vision, considered one of the standards in pre-visualization software for lighting is nearing version 3.0. Designed more for the concert world of lighting, ESP Vision will connect to almost any offline editor and many real life consoles, allowing a designer to cut down on time. ESP Vision also offers pyrotechnical effects, and is capable of producing entire videos of programmed cues, live.

Martin Show Designer: Product - Martin ShowDesigner™
Also produced by Martin, Martin ShowDesigner is a step up from Light Jockey. With the ability to connect to any offline editor, Martin ShowDesigner is able to be used by anyone’s preference of lighting console. The ability to import AutoCAD files, as well as real time, high quality renderings of beam output and hotspots puts Martin ShowDesigner in the higher level of pre-vies programs, and is a more than capable program.

Light Jockey 2: Product - LightJockey 2™
Light Jockey is a free program from Martin Lighting capable of supporting 2 universes of DMX out with its USB widget. Limited to 100 fixtures and 2048 DMX channels, Light Jockey 2 is one of the smaller pre-vis programs in the market. While the program is not as “intense” as others, Light Jockey 2 is often used because it is a free, cheap way to pre-vis work.
