Opinions?
On the concept of the Cleveland Playhouse selling its existing facility and moving into the Allen Theatre at Playhouse Square?

Well, in my uninformed, never been to Cleveland, opinion, I think it's a bad idea. The current space seems much better than where they are going. I would think that out of civic pride, the community should make better use of the facility and its land than move it. There's no problem with spreading your arts around the community and not consolidating it in one area. If they need the money, why not sell off some of the surrounding property?
Like I said, I am completely an outside observer as I have never been there. Opinions at the end of the article seem to think that it's a good idea.
