Default Vectorworks large format printing

Ok, so probably not the best place to post, mods, you can move this if you wish.

I've got a plot in Vectorworks I need printed out, but I don't have a large format printer. Can Office Max or Kinkos print this out? If they can, what do I need to do, just bring in a flash drive with the file on it? Does it need to be a .pdf?

You need to bring it as a PDF file, even if using Print Online: Print on Demand Online Printing - FedEx Office.

They can, but you should use a local business if you can - for the same reasons CB tells people to use their local theatrical suppliers. Plus, they will be more lenient!

As long as it's .pdf (.jpeg works too, or .dwf will work at most places that have a plotter!) any printer can do it. You can bring it in via flash drive, cd, or email it in. Be sure to specify black and white only, or you may get charged extra!!!

.pdf or their own format which is .kdf Kinko's has an online tool that will help you print to them.

My local Kinkos can print up to 36x48, in Adobe .pdf format.

VW should be able to export to pdf, and dump to a flash/USB drive.

I recently did a 24x36 as 1/2" scale at Kinkos, which cost $5

I don't have any Kinkos anywhere near me, so I get all my plots printed at Staples. It's actually really convenient because it's right on the way to the theatres I do most of my work at, and I can pick it up on the way there. They accept a total of 147 file types (all listed on the website), including PDF. I can print a B&W 24x36 plot for $2.24 and its ready when I leave for the theatre the next morning.
