Default RhinoPro 5000

So I'm looking to buy a RhinoPro 5000 Label Maker, and was wondering if anyone uses this in their theater or if you use a label maker at all. To label cables, equiptment, and what not.

I'm looking at getting this for theater work, and for my business which I do network installations for companies and homes. I noticed it has heatshrink lables too, so I figured since I make cables I could use the shrink label and label cables ect....

We use a Brother label maker for our asset tags. It is much better than hand-written tags because you can actually read them.
The installer kit looks like a good start:

I Used to use a Brother tape type label maker for labelling cables. I'd print out the adhesive label, stick it lengthwise on the end of the cable then seal it in place with clear heat shrink tubing. Sound like if they have heatshrink labels availible that would be a realy cool item to have! I could use one at home as I'm re-running audio, data and phone lines all through the place.

I just bought one today, so hopefully it should arrive in a few days. People complained that it didn't have any "boarders" and "fonts" like the candy boarders you find on home use makers. But if I saw someone installing my network with fancy boarders such as Candy Wrap I'd smack em up side the head.

lol, I'm looking for one to use professionally for cables and devices and not to pretty up something. So it shall suite my needs, all the other reviews I read said it was great, and the heatshrink tube is great.

So it came yesterday, it's a pretty cool label maker. Tomorrow I'm going to start labling different things that I think should be labeled before leaving next week. I'd do it today but lets just say well I'm a senior and it's that day when we all miss school :-P.

Label everything that someone besides yourself may be using.

Well I wont be using anything since I'm leaving in 8 days "unless the administration gets its way and extends our senior year by another week cause of today", but I'm going to label pretty much anything that would need labeling. But not "everything" as to go over board. I'm going to label the amps and eqalizer so they know which goes to what, and other stuff like that.

Ahh, that wonderful day where the entire senior class....doesn't go to school!
Kind of a shame that they might extend the school year because of it though...

It's really nice of you to label everything for the classes before you. When I came into our theatre department nothing had any labels at all, and I've slowly been organizing and labeling them...

Good luck after highschool!
