Default Storing gobos

I've used a product like this (Avery® 3 1/2" Diskette Storage Pages, 10/Pack at Staples®) for years to organize my gobos. However, I have been finding them more difficult and more expensive over the years. The CD pockets don't seem to work as well as they seem to be a little too big and the gobos tend to fall out. What other options are you guys using to keep your gobos sorted and relatively damage free?

ruinexplorer, consider this your second demerit for "failure to use the search." You now have only 98 left, before disciplinary measures are considered.

Thanks again. However, maybe this can be revisited since some of the links are dead in those threads. It seems that there still may be some room to visit on this topic based on their conclusions. ;^)

In my school we used to store all our gobos in a thin (width-wise) box that was just wide enough to fit the gobos. This system was terrible because the box was too long and kept falling over and there was no top, so if the box was dropped, gobos would go everywhere...I heard about the cd case idea and it is perfect! (at least at my school) The cd cases are a little big but with several gobos of same design in each case, it fits well. Of course it has a zipper around the case and keeps them from falling out.

my method is manilla envelopes in a box, one envelope per gobo type and then stored in a box organized by brand and catalogue number. Additionally, I keep a count on the front of each envelope as well as in the catalogues.

I like it (for steel gobos that is)! Nice idea if you have the space, not as conducive to those freelancers out there.
I'd recommend that maybe you put a photocopy of the gobo on the outside of the envelope. Even if you know what they are by name, it would help others out who are helping you put it all away during strike.
