Default continuity

1. Electrical. The integrity of an electrical circuit, that everything that is conductive is supposed to be. See continuity checker.

2. Directoral. More in film than live presentations, ensuring that everything in a scene or take matches every other. "Errors in continuity" happen often as multiple takes of a scene are spliced together, and sometimes props, costumes, or makeup are changed or moved slightly and not noticed. Often in a dinner scene, water glasses may appear full, empty, full again depending on the camera angle.
