epoxy

A type of adhesive consisting of two parts, resin and hardener, mixed just prior to application. One of the most common products is J-B Weld for joining metals. See also Epoxy.com - The Right Epoxy for the Right Job - Since 1980 | Over 300 Products.

Some paints also use epoxy as the binder, making for a very durable surface.
