An open-source Ethernet protocol developed by Artistic Licence from the UK. From the website: "Art-Net was originally developed as a 'stop-gap' solution whilst the industry awaited the release of ESTA's Advanced Control Network Protocol (ACN). Art-Net has now been implemented by a number of leading manufacturers and the latest revision reflects feedback from their requirements."
