Default shotgun mic

A shotgun microphone is a microphone with a very directional pickup pattern. Shotgun mics are generally very long and slender, thus resembling a shotgun.

Shotgun mics are generally condenser mics, and this require +48V bias voltage (Phantom Power) to operate.
