Pebble convex

A plano convex lens having stippling on the flat side that helps diffuse the beam and reduces the rainbow aberrations often seen on the edges of a beam from a plano convex or PC spot. Sometimes referred to as a prism convex lens.

All modern PC Spots use pebble convex lenses.
