Community Theatre

Community theatres can be either non-profit or for profit businesses. They produce their own shows, but they don't employ professional talent. Community theatres draw from the local community for anyone who is interested in working for them or being in a production. Often, cast and crew members don't make tons of money, but it is an outlet for people who want to practice their talent or get their name out, or just have fun. Community theatres range from low budget/no budget, to multi-million dollar operations.
