    Default instruments made by EC

I know that EC (Electro Controls) was bought out by Strand many years ago. However, I'm about to start working in a theatre that uses a lot of EC instruments (according to their most recent inventory). How will I know which lekos and fresnels are EC when I finally start working? Does anyone have pictures?

    Thanks a lot!

EC lekos look nothing like any other companies equipment. Also if I remember correctly they all have EC marked on them.

Most venues won't expect you to know there entire inventory, as long as you refer to the type of fixture, ie: Profile, ERS, PC, Fresnel, just remember the general rules as to what to classify a fixture, most have the manufacturers name printed on them, and often a model, if in doubt, ask, the first 2 weeks will have you learning everything about your new space.
