    can anyone tell me where to get info on how to build a dmx panel for dmx lighting control.

    bhphotovideo.com tends to have some good supplies. As for designing a DMX panel, depending on how many connections you need it really is pretty simple if you buy a DMX Isolated Splitter. What kind of board are you using and how many DMX break-outs do you need?
