Emulation - USB/DMX dongle

The USB part of my Emulation - USB/DMX dongle got crushed.
My question is: will any USB/DMX cable/system work with Emulation? Or do I need to buy the cable again for $500?

If it is at the chip end, you are probably best to send it to the manufacturer for "repair." They will most likely charge you some "flat" rate, send you a new one, and throw the old one out.

The software will only work with Elation hardware. BUT, perhaps Elation will exchange the dongle for a nominal fee. I'd shoot this guy an email:
