Horizon DMX interface - looking to buy

Hi there,
I'm new to controlbooth, or navigation throughout forums,
so sorry in advance for my out of date questions or lack of knowledge in procedures!

I'm looking to buy a Horizon DMX Interface, old printer port or USB connected (USB would be ideal, as laptops with printer ports
are getting scarce).
Anyone out there with some tips ? I'm running out of options...

Is there any other USB DMX device that will work with the software ?

Welcome to CB! As an 8 year Horizon user myself, I know A LOT about it. There are no USB interfaces that work with it. Even if you get a USB to serial converter, you have to configure it funny to to get it to work (it is completely reliable one you do though). If you have a software key already, your best bet is to get a Path Port Node. Since they have long since stopped making Horizon gear, your options for new gear is very very limited.
