    Default portable generator grounding

Found a pdf this morning about Portable Generators. It discusses Grounding Electrodes, GFI's, and Neutral Conductor Bonding: http://tinyurl.com/7cvjmo7 (the link is to a pdf) It Looks like was intended as some kind of OSHA document and is marked "DRAFT" (no idea if it ever officially released). I found it interesting just from a general information standpoint, particularly the first section about "Grounding Electrodes". It's pretty well written, has some historical perspectives, and includes some pictorials to help with the concepts.

It's a good read, but I wonder how many times people in this industry find themselves using portable generators just for outlets attached to them and not as a tie-in. I'm not gonna say it doesn't happen, people put art in really weird places, but it doesn't sounds like our primary use for them.
