Default Elation/AdJ Scene Setter question - blackouts

The Scene Setter has a "feature" that automatically puts the board in blackout mode when powered up. Any way to defeat this? I can't find anything in the manual, and no one has responded at the Elation chat board yet.

I understand they do this so it doesn't damage conventional fixtures, but I use this mostly to control LED fixtures, so it's not a big issue for me.

A lot of DMX controllers boot up on Blackout status. I don't know of a way to change this function.

Just curious. Why would you not want it to boot in blackout?
