So, I'm in the process of repairing an LMI86 48-rack, and I discovered something interesting. With cams hooked up, but no console connected and the control cards reset (so no DMX artifacts from previous use), metering the soco outs hot to neutral shows ~89VAC. This seems to have no effect on the actual output though. When I hook up some par bars, there's no ghosting, and all of the circuits fade up to full and down to 0 normally. Here are the combinations I tried and their readings:
Console Hooked Up? Data/Passthru Cards In? ~VAC Direct StagePin Out N N 88 " N Y 88 " Y N 88 " Y Y 88 (Dim@100 on Console) Y Y 116 Soco Out N N 90 " N Y 90 " Y N 90 " Y Y 90 (Dim@100 on Console) Y Y 115 (Unpatched from bay) - - 0
Is that normal and I just never noticed it before? Is there a problem with the rack?
