Small Coloram

I'm going to be working in a theater that only has the 4" Coloram II's in stock. I've only ever specified the 7.5" in the past so I am unfamiliar as to whether or not the opening of the scroller will cut into the beam of a 50deg Source Four like a top hat does. If the edge of the opening does indeed block the edges of the beam, does it work ok with a 36deg?

I have not used them specifically but other 4" scrollers will block a 50
