That seems very blue, perhaps someone will make a variable color temp one? But it does seem like a very good idea for having light coming through a window without setting up an instrument away from the window on a boom.

These are really beautiful... and something I imagine could be pretty easily re-created. It appears like each louver might have it's own strip of LEDs on the back bottom side.... I am wondering how they are getting all that power to each louver. I guess you could run all the wires behind it, you would only see them if the shades were completly open. Also seems like this many LEDs, regardless of what product you use, would be pretty expensive. LED tape isn't cheap... anythoughts?

i checked out their website. its still a concept, they just recently got the materials for mass production, so no idea on price yet.
