Default Help with ETC Source 4 19 Degree Star burst

I am getting a star burst type effect from most of my source 4 19 degree lights and i am not sure what the cause of it is. It is not terribly noticeable when the light is focused sharp but when i soften it it becomes rather noticeable. These are all the newer models of the lights. I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before and how you solved it?

    Is it a bench issue?

Try swapping the lamp cap of a fixture that's not doing it with one that is. Does the problem follow the fixture or the lamp burner?

If it follows the fixture, try swapping lens tubes.

Lamp/reflector/lens--the problem has to be one of the three (or a combination).

I've seen the starburst effects with old 360qs with the wrong lamp in them (one that's too long), but rarely, if ever source fours. That's why I thought it could be a bench issue, because the lamp is too far forward or something. How new are these fixtures?

Is the lens in the right slot in the tube?
One must first know and understand the rules of theatre before one can break them.
