    Default Powered/hydraulic drop box

I saw something online awhile ago. It was a powered drop box release system, it was mainly for releasing curtains but it had an attachment for a drop box. I completely forget the name of this so if anyone can please help me out that would be great thanks!

Are you looking for a brand name or a generic name? Try searching for Kabuki drops.

Are you talking about a solenoid? That would be the triggering mechanism, likely.

Electric Solenoid or Pneumatic cylinder are probably what you saw. Hydraulics with the oil or fluid are far too complex and potentially messy for a simple drop box or Kabuki drop.

Yes, its a pre-made item, and a solenoid does sound more like it. Anyone have any ideas of the brand?

    Thanks
