Default Lighting Regs

Can anyone provide me with some ECC or similar regs applying to the manufacturing of new lanterns such as what temperature cables have to be resistent to etc...?

This is so when i submit a proposal for a renovation i can re-inforce my points that the new lanterns will not fail over time.

I wouldn’t have thought that you would be required to provide this information, or even need to comment on it. Providing that you are seeking to install professional lighting equipment, the fact that it has ECC certification, that in itself should be enough.

Or have I misunderstood your question? Do your professional fixtures come supplied without a tail on them and you (or someone) is going to have to do this.

I remember a time when household appliances were supplied without plugs and you had to put your own plugs on them – but that was a long time ago.
