Default Yup, another one.

I'll keep it simple - here's my latest light show. I had very little time to program this and mix the music to a useable track, so it's not at the level that I would like it to be. I know that the two upstage VL3000s aren't even in terms of tilt, that's because we had to swap fixtures because one of the fixtures' irises got stuck and we had to swap it out and it hadn't been leveled out yet when I recorded this. Some things are slightly out of sync because of running out of power on the venerable old (and dying, it's crashed on us multiple times during this tech) Obsession ML (the purple turd). We're slated to get getting a pair of IONs and an ION RPU over this summer, so I'll be much happier then. Comment away - constructive criticism requested, on the lighting in addition to any issues you hear with the audio (other than the loudy quality of youtube audio), because I made that track in Audition, and I haven't mixed down many things like this before.

Planetarium - A Light Show
You need to upgrade your Flash Player

The only thing I found odd was the song switch at 1:27 (when you switch from Jupiter to the next song.) The other transitions were really good, that was what stood out in my mind.

Also, it was nice to hear someone use the A (or second A?) section of Jupiter and not just the B (or "hymn" - also known as Thaxtd) section of the song. As a performer that was my favorite part.

Can you give me the lowdown on your rig? What else were you using besides the VL3000's?

Looks great.. wish I had the inventory to do that good of a show at my theatre.. I basically get to use washes and when I do get to design and run a show it's usually a punt/drop kick type of thing because I don't get set lists or any advance material to program to anyway..
