I am looking at the strand 300 series and the strand ld24 and i was wondering if people would reccomend (due to cost) that i initially install one ld24 and get an 24/48model desk and then, roughly one year later, upgrade and get another ld24 (total of 48 channels) and buy the expansion modules to make a 48/96.
Is this actaully possible or is it more trouble that it is worth, becuase i thought about running the cables for the system expansion at the first installation so for the second part all would be required would be to hook up the cables.

I can't find this LD24 ont heir site (and have never heard of it). It's perfectly straightforward to buy a 24/48 300 series board, and buy additional fader modules at some point. This would probably make sense for your space, as you may want to expand some more eventually.
