Tying "User Field" to X-Axis Position in VW

Is there an easy way to make one of the user fields in the light instrument properties be its position on the X-Axis without having to do it for each light by hand? I'd like to throw it into the legend for the ease of my electricians.

Yes, I wrote a vectorscrip that will do just that. It works best if you set the orgin to the intersection of the plaster line and center line.
