Try browsing the Strand Website for things like this: http://www.strandlighting.com/client...uick_Start.pdf
You might also try the 500 Series operations manual as the software and buttons are almost exactly the same. I (along with others here) am a Strand programmer. We are happy answer your questions, and feel free to send PMs as well.

Teaching youself from the manual is a PAIN, I reccoment getting the Off Line Editor, it lets you use the sytem, without having to get a console. Make sure you also get all the keyboard shortcuts ect. That way you actually get to practice what you learn. Its easier with two computers to do this, that way you can have the manual and keyboard map open and the OLE with a screen to itslef. Heres the link to the OLE, http://redirectingat.com/?id=41X76&t.../StrandOLE.zip its easy enough to work out, just unzip, install and click on the batch file.
Let me know if you kneed more help, Nick

We've got a small console with it too, I'd rather learn with the console, I hate keyboard shortcuts. I downloaded that Bobby Harrell guide, I'm gonna bring my laptop with me to set up with the manual and that guide pulled up so I can refer to either if needed.
