Default Electrical Common Sense... I Thought...

So thought you guys might get a kick out of this. The other day we had this standardized test in the auditorium. Some of the house lights are out, and I guess maintnance didn't want to fix them. So what do the do?

The take an extension cord, cut it into about 5 pieces, then wire in lamp sockets. They simple twisted the wires together and put a wire cap over it. However they weren't done real well and there were certainly exposed wires (it was like 15 feet up in the air). Then when they suspended it they were now putting a load on 120v wires TWISTED TOGETHER!

Stupidity........

Don't worry, I told our our head security who promised it would be gotten rid of and reported.
