Default Just a toy

It's possibly the cheapest moving head out there, it's not very bright, and it lacks a digital display, proper error reporting, and other features of a moving head I'd put in to a show, but it's a sweet little fixture for demos and whatnot. RGB color mixing, of course.

Irradiant Mini Move

Figured I'd post this here for anyone who wants a cheap little fixture for demos or if they really want to turn a small room in to a party zone on the cheap.

Someone I don't like at work but was once bidding on a project for antique lights to be used for his show, in remembering that I collect lights just gave me a Mole #5721 (Two light Mole PAR 36) I love and a Meteor "Pro Beam" something with rotator. Have to reconsider that dislike I think, this much less the aux. role of my garage/work shop as a "Lava Lamp Love Lounge" just got its upgrade. Before it was red rope light about the ceiling, a short black light above a 70's era black light poster, photo type lamp banks with flame candle lamps in them and some panels of cloudy sky soft flat on the ceiling with net light Christmas lights behind them, plus as the only mover a rolling mylar fireplace log effect and a few pinspots and an ACL gelled and angled at certain angles.

Once I get it up and running, should change the look of my garage a lot when in that mode. Wonder what the new light will look like in no knowledge about it.

Not to hijack a thread but a lot of disclaimers in the initial one. Good fixture no doubt for some purposes but wondering about applications for its use.

I love that the box that is under the head is like 9? times bigger than the head itself. Might actually buy one tho, would make parties kind of fun...

Or tape a big torch to the front. For $150 I think I might buy one just to see all the cool stuff I can do with it. Attatch a fishing rod to the head and get a few on the front of the boat. Fishing just got a whole lot easier. (But then again I would need a generator and console to go fishing, kind of defeats the relaxing way of doing it)
I might look into this as a cheaper than a MinSpot.
