New Chauvet Scanner trouble

i just got the 2 chauvet intimidator 2.0 HTI's i ordered and when i set them both up and install the lamps when i turn them on one is about half as bright as the other. this is in every mood including dmx and master/slave. Is there something i can do? do i need a new lamp or should i return it and get another one? sorry im sure this is an stupid question but these are my first moving lights thanks!

First thing to do is check to see that the lamp in the dimmer unit is seated properly.

If it is, you can try adjusting the lamp center (see manual)

You can also check to see that you two of the same lamps.

Last thing to do before sending a unit back is to swap lamps between the fixture. Does the dim fixture follow the lamp?

thanks i didnt think of switching the lamp between lights im going to try this now
