Control/Dimming - ETC Smartfade loss of cues

I am running a show in a small community theatre with poor power conditions.
The other day we were running the show and we got to some cues later in the show and the lights didn't come up, but they work 4 hours before. A few days before I had backed it up and I tried loading the show from that and I then lost the whole show. The show runs for the whole month of July. It would be nice if i had a backup that works.

The console i am using is the ETC Smartfade 2496.

Has anyone run in to this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

So the cue disapeared or it just didn't run? If it didn't run it could be a DMX issue, if the cues disapeared, it sounds like you could have a problem with your console or your board op. So long as you did your backup correctly, it should all load back, if not, then you probably have lost it.

Yeah I did the backup which only saved the submasters and not the cue stack so when I loaded the backup I went from missing only two cues to losing the whole show. BTW I am the Board Op.

Please contact ETC Technical Support directly (800/688-4116). It would be great if you could also be prepared to email a copy of your show file to them. Do you have an SD Card reader on your computer?

It sounds like the show file you used to restore your show may not have been the most recent backup of the show (like it had been saved when the memories were created but the main stack had not yet been done.) Are there other files on that SD Card?

Thats the weird part is the cue stack was created an we had been running the show with it for about a week when this happened. I had backed it up half way through the week.
