I know that the Chamsys MagicQ software supports MIDI for timecode but does it support it in the same way as audio software? I have a MIDI control surface used for my home studio and I would be curious as to whether it is possible to use that to control playbacks on the software. I use an MQ100 Pro but I would like to have a more portable system for when I don't want a huge road case, etc. Behringer makes a very small 8 fader control surface and I figured if I combined that with a USB DMX interface I would have a pretty nice setup for a fraction of what a wing costs. Does anybody know if this works.

This will not work unless you buy the Chamsys DMX-USB. They have to make money somehow, but its still cheaper than a wing.
