If my school's stage work lights are contolled from a regular on off switch on the stage, is there a way i could program them as a channel?

What sort of controls are they? If you have dimmers in your racks which are assigned to the worklights, then you can simply patch the DMX channels (usually the dimmer numbers in this sort of setup) to a channel on your control desk.
If this is simply a light switch on the wall (the work lights are fed from your building light power), then you would need to get a large enough relay module in the dimmer rack, and pull wire from the rack to the switch. |
