Electric Ion Q? Move In Black

How do you use move in black (move while dark) with automated lights on the Ion console? How would I turn this feature on and how would I apply it to cues that have already been created?

Thanks for the help on all my Ion/Eos question (I still may have more to come )

Reference and Mark cues. There should be a setting for auto-mark that will automatically pick the best place to mark the lights into place. I don't remember where the setting is though.

Auto Mark is enabled in the settings menu.

It does cover cues that have already been written. The logic is pretty simple on how it works. It looks one cue ahead (and one cue only) If the intensity of the automated device is at zero and any of the non-intensity Parameters are different from where they are now, it goes ahead and moves to the new position.

Reference and Mark cues are do the same thing, except they allow for you to move lights in Cue 3 when they don't come up till you get to cue 6 (for instance).

Make Sense?

They are very correct in their responces. Just be aware that the auto mark feature is great because you dont have to do anything for it. However it also allows you to forget to clean up the cues yourself and time out your moves so that they are not disrupting.
