Strand MX Software
If anyone can help me with this problem, I will love them (not literally) forever.
I have a Strand MX 24 (nice and reliable) desk, without the software version that is needed to run MX TERM. Does anyone know where I can either flash the ROM chips in the desk or get new chips to fit so that I can use an external monitor. I am waiting for a reply back from Strand but they seem to be taking forever.......  Thank you everyone! :D

Have you tried calling Strand's customer service number in the UK. Here are the service representatives:

I have tried to ring stage-electrics before and they seem really unhelpful.
Not sure about the others, might have to give them a try,

Have tried Delta AV and Whitelight, both saying that neither can do the upgrade or can advise on how to do the upgrade.
Any other ideas anybody? I really need this feature to help with a Dance show that I have coming up. It is being run by a couple of 13yr olds that need to be able to see on a screen what is turned on aswell as looking at the board.

I have now found out how the software is delivered to the desk. Through a pair of pre-programmed chips on the control section of the board.
Now just to find a pair with a newer version.......
