Default Rental board recomendation

Ok, i'm doing a small show, 34 chanels.

I need to rent a DMX board to run the show, typicly i use a Strand 200 12/24.

or a larger board.

But since i am right in the middle, i don't know what i should rent. any suggestions would be appreciated.

how about a Leprecon 1536 or 1548? that would work pretty well for you needs i think. a company in deleware, called Mainlight, has them for $62 for 1 week, $120 for two weeks, and $215 for 4 weeks for the 1536.

I guess it depends on what's available and for how much. Always better to get a little more than you need than a little less.

I don't know if anyone has looked at these yet but the ETC Smart fade. This is a small inexpensive console that is great to have just as a back up. It comes in two different models, 12/48 and 24/96. I tend to use it for my conventionals incase my moving light console would crash, I still have my conventionals up so the venue does not go dark.

I think people should look into it and see what they think. I'll post a link
