Default Focus Charts

Anyone have any links or good directions they can send me for focus charts? I'm not too thrilled with the Lightwright version and thought I'd put out some feelers...

The lightwright vs. is standard in the industry, you will find most or all focus charts are finalized in lightwright.

The trick is to lay out focus tape so you get co-ordinates. So when your designer is focusing the light you note where they stand on a grid; lets say 1,A then you record that. Next you need to note how the fixture is focused and then note any shuter cuts.

Lightwright lets you do all of this and you can draw the shutter cuts it also lets you keep all your documentation in one place. So im not to sure what you dont like about it. More info would be necessary to help you out.

One other thing is always as the ALD do focus charts as the focus is hapening. Aswell do it by hand first on sheets of paper its quicker and you can make updates quickly. Then input it into lightwright.

I'll pass on your trick to my ALD.

My issue as the designer since I'll be remounting the show in June with only the notes my ALD will take and my slowly failing memory is that I'm just not overly happy with the LW layout. I know there are other sheets out there in various books and was wondering if anyone knew any links so I could look and compare.
