Default ETC Express w/ Strand Dimmers?

Hello.
I was wondering if an ETC Express 24/48 (96 Channnels) can work with a Strand Dimmer System. The system I want to try this with has 85 channels.

Thanks,
Joe

I dont see an issue with it, really. I mean, our mainstage theatre at school has the same board, but its some no-name dimmer system bc it's sorta old and hasnt been revamped. No problems there.

Strand and ETC are good companies in general so I dont see why not. Most ppl say "go with the same companies" but I don't think that it makes such a difference really

What protocol do the strand dimmers accept? The Express outputs DMX, so if the Strand dimmers accept DMX, you should be fine. Otherwise, if the dimmers use another protocol, you'll have to get a protocol converter.
