Default DMX Motor Base

I was wondering if anyone knew where to get a DMX controlled motor base like on the bottoms of the martin macs. i just need a bottom that rotates and tilts the unit.

Sounds like you might want an Apollo Right Arm... it's a brand new product that motorizes just about anything you can bolt onto it. Does both Pan and Tilt. They run under $1000 depending on the deal you get. It's a brand new product that was announced at LDI and I believe will be shipping soon... I control booths resident Apollo guy "Kelite" will tell us more if he sees this post. Or P.M. him for more info.

City Theatrical makes a product called the "Auto Yoke" it costs twice as much and is very instrument specific. http://www.citytheatrical.com/

Robe makes media spinners that will either do banner or flat panel tv's.

I think that elation also makes those spinners. The only thing about the media spinners is that they can only spin, they can't tilt.

The Apollo Right Arm is the way to go here. Kelite's signature has the link to the right arm page, and I'm sure that he'll be posting here soon!

It looks like both the Elation and Chauvet just pan. Does anybody know if they also tilt? That's a lot of money for just pan.

Would a moving mirror help? SGM and a couple others make moving mirror assemblies.

The moving mirror will probably cost as much as the Right Arm, and will require alignment of two pieces of gear instead of just one. I thought of that one, but the issue of alignment of source vs. mirror is something that you wouldn't want to have in addition to alignment of the source itself.
