Default Color mixing...

I'm getting ready to design the lighting for an original script which is being performed in the style of old film noir. The concept of it being a "stage noir" is kind of cool, but we want to go with a grayscale color scheme. I've used combinations of Roscolux R98 and R97 (Medium and light grey filters) before, but the light output is always very harsh. Does anybody know a good color combination to mix a softer white light?

Just off the top of my head, R08 (or R05, depending on the look that you want) and R60. Should work pretty well.

L202, L201, thats where you will want to be heading. You want to look for color correction.
